Easy Father's Day Gift From Kids...

I haven't done very much crafting lately (insert sad face here...)  I've been super busy with life, the kiddo's finishing up school for the year, my niece's wedding and showers, we took a fantastic trip to California and have just been busy enjoying the beautiful mountains here in Utah.  I am really going through some major craft withdrawls so, I need to get my fix!!!

Anywho, Hubs got his Father's Day gift early, he got spoiled rotten with lots of accessories for his new baby, (a 4wheeler).  Since he has already opened those gifts, the kids and I decided we wanted to have something to give to him on the actual day, so we put this together (he doesn't read this blog very often, so I'm hoping he doesn't see this early!):

The base is 4 boxes of Sugar Babies hot glued to a floral foam cube, then I glued tissue paper to the top and added lots of curling ribbon.  I taped the candy bars to plastic drink mixer sticks and stuck them into the foam.  That's it!  Super easy and would be a great gift for pretty much any occasion!

Ceramic Bird In Nest

AGGH!  My life has gotten crazy as of late and I haven't been able to much crafting or blogging.  I hate it when life gets in the way of my craft addiction!  I did paint & antique this little ceramic bird for my Spring decor:

I made the next with some twig garland and a string of beads.  He has looked super cute as a centerpiece on my table with my bunnies:

I love ceramics because when I was little, my mom would take us to the ceramic store and let us pick out whatever we wanted to paint.  I can remember doing it from the time I was just tiny and truly believe that I owe my love of crafting to my mom.  I hadn't painted a ceramic in YEARS, so this was really fun and took me back to some really good childhood memories :)

3 Easy Crafts to Make with Plastic Easter Eggs...

I have a HUGE box of plastic Easter Eggs.  My kiddo's are too old to do Easter egg hunts and so I've been re-purposing the eggs and making cute crafties.  Here are three that I have come up with so far:

Super Easy DIY Chalkboard Wall Hanging...

I'm so in love with chalkboard paint!  The possibilities are endless.  I made this super easy, super inexpensive Chalkboard wall hanging:

I've had a 16x20 size backer that went in a frame lying around in my stash for awhile now and decided it was the perfect size for a chalkboard.  I just painted 3 coats of chalkboard paint, tied the material bow around it and hung it on the wall.

I told it you it was super simple!!!

St. Patrick's Day Hutch

Hello there!  I haven't died, but the last few weeks have been crazy busy and therefore I haven't gotten much crafting done, which always makes me sad.  I did get my Valentines deco's down and put up my St. Patrick's Day ones though.  We went from red and pink everywhere to green everywhere!  Here is my hutch:
